How this works
Most mail providers cap attachments somewhere between 10 and 25 MB, and recipients on slow connections feel every megabyte long before that. A handful of untouched phone photos blows straight past a sensible size.
Target 500 KB per image and you can attach a dozen without a second thought. If the pictures are only going to be viewed on screen, resizing to 1200 pixels wide first cuts the weight further with no visible cost.
Questions
What size should an email image be?+
Around 1200 pixels wide and a few hundred kilobytes covers retina displays and keeps the message light.
Can I do a whole batch?+
